Chief’s Award for bringing Black folx to 4 National Forests for freshwater snorkeling and other activities. 185 participants joined the adventure. In addition to the Chief’s Award, the project also won a Regional Forester’s Honor Award.

Presentation focused on partnerships between grassroots organizations and government entities. Presenters also discussed both the successes and lessons learned in developing this global platform designed to acknowledge, support, and unite Black-led organizations and facilitators that bring outdoor programming to primarily Black and Brown audiences.
